Exactly, a settlement may be nice but a trial with verdict will be much bigger I believe.

Well said!

Regardless of what some may want you to believe this case has merit. Fact: The judge did not dismiss the case or give summary judgment. He ordered and set a drop-dead date for mediation. For those of you who do not know what a mediation is, it is where parties to the lawsuit sit down and attempt to negotiate a SETTLEMENT. Fact: The judge thought the case had enough merit to order a trial if mediation does not work and he set a drop-dead trial date. A judge is not going to waste his time or the time of other people unless the case has merit. Period. Those are the FACTS. As a side note, average people usually are the ones sitting on a jury. Average people hate it when a big corporation steels from a small guy. Even the possibility of this having happened is all they need to punish the big corporation. Billions....why yes. Billions are possible here

What Is Mediation And How Does It Work?
This article was edited and reviewed by FindLaw Attorney Writers

Mediation is a procedure in which the parties discuss their disputes with the assistance of a trained impartial third person(s) who assists them in reaching a settlement. It may be an informal meeting among the parties or a scheduled settlement conference. The dispute may either be pending in a court or potentially a dispute which may be filed in court. Cases suitable for mediation are disputes in commercial transactions, personal injury, construction, workers compensation, labor or community relations, divorce, domestic relations, employment or any other matters which do not involve complex procedural or evidentiary issues. Attendance at the mediation conference is voluntary by the parties, except where governed by statute or contract clause.

The mediator is a person with patience, persistence and common sense. She/he has an arsenal of negotiation techniques, human dynamics skills and powers of effective listening, articulation and restatement. The mediator is a facilitator who has no power to render a resolution to the conflict. The parties will fashion the solution as the mediator moves through the process. In many jurisdictions the mediator is an attorney but can not give legal advise while in the role of a mediator. However, the mediator's subject area expertise may be beneficial to the parties in wording and framing the mediated agreement or in circumstances where the parties are open to neutral case evaluation.

Yes imagine when Mr Average Joe finds out he has to sit on possibly long trial for people that got ridiculously wealthy for stealing technology and sharing it with others to try to whitewash and complicate the original theft of the Intellectual Patented Property. when he should be working to pay the rent and put food on the table for his family.#FirefightersForSector10 #Justice #WhiteCollarCrime #RICO #ShortSqueeze #AmericanHistory
