There's no academic proof that charting is useful for predicting future stock movement. Buffett, the greatest investor in history, doesn't use charting or T/A. He famously doesn't even have a computer on his Omaha desk.
If you want to understand NGL you should do the grunt work of taking apart the company fundamentals. That means understanding accounting, taxation. the company operations, energy pricing, law and regulatory, the politics... etc, etc.
