When you continue reading, it says a vesting order is done in fairness. Does that hold no value?

It’s funny you keep mentioning vesting orders. Here’s a better explanation at least as it pertains to this complex restructuring within the context of the CCAA.

On page one of the link it lists “restructuring” as one of the reasons for a vesting order. The following pages are peppered with bankruptcy and CCAA/restructuring explanations mixed in to different parts. One can also simply scroll down to the dedicated section of CCAA on page 20. Near the bottom it states “ a key distinction .........is the debtor remains in possession and control of , and continues to own, all of its property and assets”.
