Mojo, es1’s point is that not many people are willing to fork over $300 for a tie. Yes, some people will, but you quickly run out of customers and thus out of sales.

One of the reasons Betamax failed was because it was more expensive than VHS. Sony also tried to keep control of their system, while JVC licensed VHS out to everyone and built market share. Right now KBLB is acting like Thompson’s worst fear: SONY with Betamax.

KBLB may command high prices for a short time, but the competition will ramp up and they will have to slash prices to survive. Who is the competition? Bolt, Spiber, Randy Lewis and China? No one knows yet, but competition will come. I wish Thompson would look at YKK as his business model.

Great...I hope ds is extremely overpriced and has the profits of a dozen middlemen included...just so long as it sells... 

You know why BT isnt already in production?
Because the product is overpriced and wont sell till the price is lowered

Extremely overpriced is a bad thing
