#47451 RE: Cassandra #47449

Has anyone noticed that both the Odyssey 1000 review and player are no longer on the CNET site? The link to the review from the e.Digital Store now goes to: http://reviews.cnet.com/4505-6496_7-20845399.html?legacy=cnet

e.Digital is not even mentioned as a manufacturer on this page:

http://reviews.cnet.com/Music/4502-6497_7-0.html?tag=dir-hd

The only e.Digital player still listed is the MXP100 under flash-based MP3 players.

e.Digital might want to take the link off of the store web page.

No matter what player design Dell uses they can choose an interface to their liking.

How can the Bang and O interface look nothing like the one used for the O-1000?

Because it's not the same.

Do you think before you post?

The Dell and the Zen have basically the same menu......

"I don't know if Dell is rebranding a Creative player, but it does seem possible given this: #msg-1513690 which shows that Creative changed its policy about branding in August. The article in #msg-1512705 was written in mid-August. It's possible that an agreement happened later."

the only difference is that the Dell player deos not have the EAX feature (which they probably did not want to pay for), does not use the icons, and they added voice recording. The rst of the menu is EXACTLY the same, same font, same wording, it is the same. The terms Music Library, Now Playing, Play Mode, Settings, and Information are identical. The first three terms are unique to Creatives UI.
