Yes we currently sell approx 250,000 shares a day on average to fund operations. This is more than half our daily volume. Our trading volume in $'s is paltry and there is not much demand. This results in downward pressure. Over 95% of public companies do not sell shares. We are atypical, but not for a young biotech.
Who's the biggest seller of our shares? We are. And that selling won't stop until we have enough cash. And that is not going to be for a while. It's been years, and it's likely to be a couple more, even if all goes well (typical B deals and deal for K phase 2A/B).
