Just pretending they did have money to pay you a dividend, where do you think that money actually is? What bank or brokerage does FFGO currently keep the assets in for distribution? Is a sock or mattress? How do you think it works?
If they had money why would they pay you? How would you know if they did? How would you make them pay you? Who is it that you would even ask?
