Ksweis, since that post of mine, I am now up to 2 factory safety recalls, last one was some issue with 4WD locking up forcing people off the road !
And I had another warranty repair issue 2 weeks ago, so am up to 3 of those there as well. Recent one was roof console fell out of the fkng ceiling while opening to get my sunglasses out !
I owned 35 vehicles in my lifetime. never bought extended warranties cause they were schemes dealerships used to make more $$$ off you. This time, I bought extended 10yr/100,000 mile plan and glad I did, because the quality is so piss poor today with GMC trucks, as soon s I pay balance of note off on my 2018 Sierra, I am going elsewhere for good. Tired of GM's quality going down the tubes for years... And as a former stockholder prior Obama bailing them out, I was also wiped out there due to their pseudo-BK they did, while the execs all got richer...
I am a small business owner. I cannot afford to waste hundreds of hours to take my truck in for recall or warranty repairs (on a newer vehicle at that), as nobody comps me or makes up for that lost productive time for my business. We have to take our lumps and losses, and GM nor the damn dealership cares about that... And their dealerships all want up to $1,000.00 tacked onto bill of sale for normal office paperwork too- we as contracting businesses cannot do that to our customers. How the hell can dealerships do that as all businesses have paperwork daily, as it is part of doing your business. But these dealerships are outrageous and get away with it !
