Maybe Culp should drastically cut executive pay at $GE, including his own. $GE was generous to its executives when things were going well. Now, the company is in the midst of bad times. The CEO of such a company cannot just keep going with a “business as usual” attitude.
He has a fiduciary duty to the shareholders. Changes have to be made.
