First it's about risk tolerance. The science imo is fundamentally sound. It's about how the company can move it forward. I have a very good base (core) position that if they spark a deal, even a reverse merger deal, I'll make out like a bandit.
Though, in the meantime, taking advantage of pops lets you add at the drops. Much of my core is long term (over the 1 year mark) so i get the tax advantage on taking a loss on some of my higher cost shares.
If they do spark a deal and this takes off, without a doubt I'll be buying. Experience tells me not to be shy on going well over the ask to get filled on the way up. The right terms and this could easily be on tbe way over the $.
That's a win.

No deal and this drags, well, again, be mindful of your risk. But I'm thinking we'll see something soon.
