Crooked JACK HANKS is far too old to be either a kidney or liver donor, even if he was simply braindead in hospital. Waaay too much mileage on his organs to be transplantable.

One can't even be a bone marrow donor after age 50. When I hit 50, the national bone marrow registry sent me a note telling me that due to my age, I was being dropped from the donor list.

A kidney transplant recipient is better off with a kidney from a cadaver that is young (under 40-45) than with a better immuno (MHC) - matched live donor kidney from a donor over 40-45. Weird, huh?
