I hear Canadian female smallies are lonely. The good ones haven't seen a hook very much and are feeding up for winter. It's a good thing to be able to see fish like that.

I got to fish off a pier on vacation. I rescued a black drum from the jaws of a shark bigger than me. I doubt i will ever choose to swim in the ocean again after what my eyes saw in that 6 hrs. I did get to catch some pompano. I liked that. Wife caught a sea robin, sheepshead, and a drum. We chickened out on an offshore trip because of Dorian.
