Other considerations aside, when they give up conservatorships, they give up control.

Nothing. This is the start of ripping the bandaid off or weaning the government off the coffers of the twins. As they are still under conservatorship they pretend that the twins are not on the books like they say they would be if they where in receivership. Reality is the twins will be backed by the government as well as the banks. They will continue to go hand in hand as they have for decades. Changing that would be like you living without tHemoglobin. Doesn't stop the court action either, however it might even reduce awards in cases. Still think there has to be a continuation beyond the set capital requirements and that too will happen as it will be needed to pay interests on loans by the government. I have to believe the purpose of the warrants go away with the official conclusion of the conservatorship.
