It goes to show the whole market is being kept artificially on life support by share bybacks from multiple of the DOW and Nasdaq companies for the past 18 months. I don't know if done for political reasons, but once buybacks run out throughout the economy the whole balloon deflates. We might see the DOW in 9000s again back to 2008 levels.

The Microsoft stock repurchase was from profits - TRTC has never been profitable.

Shares of Microsoft climbed as much as 2.8% to an intraday record high on Thursday after the company rolled out a $40 billion share-repurchase program and raised its dividend by 11%.

It's the third share-repurchase plan of that size that the company has pursued in six years. The other two were in 2013 and 2016.

Look MS had another dividend - how many dividends has TRTC provided?

The MS stock repurchase was from profits.

But it is always amusing to see a post comparing a pinky to Microsoft, Google, Facebook...

You do realize that Microsoft wasn't sued by their partner and then ordered by the court to buy the partner out correct? And then they spin it off as a share buy back..

How are most of you ignoring this?

Its not like TRTC is making so much money they thought a buyback would be good for shareholders..


In fact its terrible, TRTC has been selling their assets just to keep their lights on. They have been borrowing money at ridiculously high rates.

TRTC is garbage.
