Trademarks and patents are two different things. I sure you now this, but readers of your flamboyant posts may not. As dig_it pointed out, CCTI's technology has been patented around the world in dozens of countries; in the U.S. this technology was trademarked as Pristine, Pristine-M, and Pristine-SA. The expired trademark is not a big deal, especially considering they're still pre-commercial. However, you could argue it raises the specter of a potential buyout, since the buyer may have plans to change the trademark. A buyout at this stage would probably be bad for shareholders with dreams of loading up the truck and moving to Beverly, since our 52wk high was only 29¢. Hopefully, we'll break a dollar before any serious offers.
