When no spreads on volume check the VWAP. It’s market makers doing algorithms wash trades in advance of news or an event to try to excite retail buyers that mistaking volume for retail demand. As soon as retail is enticed into buying the market makers will have 50% or more yield spreads. Lots more bag holders with high volume buying and no corresponding PPS increase.
