The recent vaping deaths have led to some chatter that the FDA may step in to regulate the MJ industry to make it safer — that has obviously injected some fear into the MJ sector, which is terrified of any form of federal regulation, as that would undeniably lead to a crackdown

But given the fact that the CBD industry WANTS to be regulated by the FDA, the vaping crisis is actually a positive for the CBD sector, because it has the potential to influence the FDA to issue a clear regulatory framework ASAP in an attempt to limit dangerous unregulated CBD products from hitting the marketplace

All that being said, fear tends to very easily creep from the MJ sector into the CBD sector, even when it’s not necessarily rational, as in this case
