bio, if Omeros mixes Bavituximab or any other substance that would be a PS targeting drug that is covered by the Bavi patents then they will have to license from Oncologie (and CDMO will get its part).
We know the tumor environment is protected by PS who hides/masks the tumor from being detected. It was from the beginning that Dr. Thorpe wanted to block PS from doing that.
Later it was discovered that keeping PS from masking the tumor on its own is insufficient. The immune system must also be activated (woke up).
The Dr. Brekken added that all that only works if sufficient damage can be seen. Radio therapy for instance creates such massive damage. From there it becomes simple:
PS blocked, Immune System Activate, Damage Detectable and the complete system starts up.
That why I added PS free or low diet (e.g. No soy, organic meat, white beans, etc) and Zinc pill because they also help the immune system.
In mean time we have those documented case where injecting an overdoses flue in a patient with final stage melanoma (visible all over the body), does exactly the same and the melanoma disappears completely.
We could conclude that over-damage is ALWAYS visible to the immune system because it statistically cannot be sufficiently masked to keep the immune system from detecting it. Which is another approach compared to bavi.
NOTE: Don't try this at home! This was done under Doctors guidance, 3 days of extensive tremors, fever, dehydration, etc. To much immune system cause sometimes the immune system to attack the body (not body strange entities).
