No! The price has not shifted. The lower price is for when longs may want to take some off the table to get their investment out and let the rest ride.
And that's perfectly reasonable if they want to do that... but I think they shouldn't because...
1) shorts have to cover before revocation or face paying Total's price
2) as they cover the price will rise and commence the dreaded margin calls
3) then their brokers will buy at any price we want.
