Oakland pot-cultivation center could produce more than 2,200 pounds of marijuana a year By Riley McDermid The Newport Beach-based cannabis company Terra Tech has signed a lease for a cannabis-cultivation complex in Oakland, which could be completed as soon as September.[/b] The massive 13,000-square-foot building industrial site will be located near the Oakland Airport off of Hegenberger Road — and could produce as much as a metric tonne, or 2,200 pounds, of marijuana a year, Terra Tech said. The complex will have a greenhouse to grow the company's proprietary strains.

The Company pays $24,000 per month in rent for the property where its Oakland, California cultivation facility is located to an entity owned 50% by Mr. Kaufman and Ms. Ibrahim . The Company pays $24,000 per month in rent for the property where its San Leandro, California dispensary and production facility is located to an entity owned 50% by Mr. Kaufman and Ms. Ibrahim.
The Company pays approximately $35,000 per month to an entity owned 50% by Mr. Kaufman to provide security at the property where its Blum Oakland facility is located.
