Chris Alexander Director
Chris Alexander was born in Toronto in 1968, He obtained a B.A. in history and political science from McGill University in l988, completed a first-class M.A. in economics and philosophy at Balliol College in the University of Oxford in 1991.
Chris Alexander is a career diplomat, international public servant and politician. From 1991 until 2009, he served as a member of the Canadian foreign service. On May 2, 2011, Chris Alexander was elected to the Canadian House of Commons as the federal Member or Parliament for Ajax-Pickering, helping to propel the Conservative Party of Canada to a majority government. From May 2011 until July 2013, Alexander served as Parliamentary Secretary to Canada’s Minister of National Defense. Chris Alexander was Canada’s Minister of Citizenship and Immigration from July 2013 to November 2015. In this capacity, he launched Express Entry system for economic immigration to Canada, strengthened Canada’s citizenship program.
He was also a serious presidential candidate in 2016
