I have a certificate of LPPI shares from a loan I made to them in 2014 to fund their legal battle. It took multiple phone calls and emails over about 18 months to get this. The real kicker is that whilst I do have the certificate now it is worthless because neither of my brokers (One of them is Schwab) will accept the shares because LPPI is a penny stock.
