Cashinhand: I honestly don't think there are many shareholders left who would believe they are really doing a share buyback. It might take the pps up somewhat, but overall, there's not much more they can do other than release the AFs.
strategy: put out so so A/F's, watch the stock drop, buy up as many shares as possible on the market and then announce a share buy-back for whatever number of shares are still outstanding and thereby take the company back out of the hands of the public and pocket whatever they gleaned during the few months SLJB was public. hmmmmmmmm. that is imagined and couldn't possibly be a strategy, could it?
