#1023 RE: ebase22 #1022

ebase22. An interesting article:

https://www.fool.com/investing/2019/09/12/why-solaredge-stock-dropped-10-today.aspx

One of those companies has a market cap of $1B. The other has $4B. Both are leaders in this area. Both drop because Generac is coming.

Does anyone think anymore that POLA and Arthur and their DC generator is seriously going to dominate the US telecom market? (or even get a tiny foothold in US residential)? I don't think the worry is that T-mobile is delayed like Arthur says. Do you believe him? I think the worry needs to be that they go the way of Verizon. POLA did $25M+ with Verizon and they are gone now?? I wager that Generac dropped their prices such that Verizon never looked back to POLA. Imo, it means that POLA can't compete on upfront price (and service) in the US (let alone internationally) and that's what companies care about most.

Imo, POLA's only chance is being bought out by a large company (probably international) that wants to make a quick move into US telecom and residential and uses POLA's generator to do it and can eat lower margins to do it. The question then is can Arthur get out of the way for it to happen?
