The Brilacidin ph2a proof of concept trial tested 17 subjects with active mild to moderate UP/UPS. Not just 5 subjects. The majority of patients achieved clinical remission at day 42 as per the presentation presented at the Drug Discovery & Therapy World Congress DDTWC in Boston on July 13, 2017. The full slide deck presented can be seen by clicking the following link. https://static1.squarespace.com/static/5715352e20c647639137f992/t/596cac7df14aa1a6e7118ed8/1500294274057/IPI+DDTWC+Brilacidin+presentation+%28final-u%29+13Jul2017.pdf

I won't be guessing at timelines for the upcoming Brialacidin ph1 UC trial.

The first clinical trial of oral Brilacidin in the Company’s Ulcerative Colitis program is planned to commence in December 2019 in healthy volunteers in the United Kingdom.

In Reply to 'JTORENCE' regarding number of trial subjects
Has Leo even started to screen patients for the intended clinical trial start date of December 2019. That process can take 3-6 months. Only thing we are gonna get in December is a PR that it took longer than expected to recruit patients and the trial start date will be advised in subsequent PR's.Enema trial had about 5 patients ,how many are gonna be in this trial? He will milk this out to at least 6 months and more dilution. We will be sitting here come next spring with additional PR's trying to sucker in newbees. Gee, how's the swish and spit progress going? He payed over a cool million of our money for that.imo

"Has Leo even started to screen patients for the intended clinical trial start date of December 2019."

Are healthy people that hard to come by?
