Yeah I mean if you're not gonna invest in a company that has restricted and non restricted stock, then you're not gonna invest in any company. A larger float will stabilize the stock also, especially when the PPS starts moving up. Great companies with value don't care about float. Shitty companies trying to pump up value do. If this is the only fault people can find in this, well... there are hundreds of garbage OTC stocks you can invest in with much higher floats to stabilize their sub penny pps.
