From the last 10K Dr. Tchelet had 350k options granted at Dec 31, 2018, and given the number granted in 1H2019 I would say it's now more than double that.

not quite true. He may get others, but not as many as he has gotten in the past. They new ones will be at higher strike prices and probably smaller amounts. Also, what he is selling now is very expensive as they are taxed as ordinary income, not long term capital gains. So the question remains why? now?
If the pot of gold is so close, why now?

True, he could need the money for a reason, but....
