That "Adobe flash" thing is a virus. It's been a problem on ADVFN pages several times in the past. I've encountered it more than once while using the Plus One pages. Once some months ago, Dave reported it, and ADVFN fixed it, but I've noticed recently that now it's back.
I think it only affects Mac users. If it pops up, what you need to do is close the window immediately. Just going to another page won't work.
