Smoke and mirrors? Probably not, but lets say we need high boots and a shovel. I was told, as were others, that jeans were being made back in August. How long does it take to get them to a store? A carefully planned launch, with a plan to expand the number of retail outlets and expand the product line, would have made sense, particularly before the critical holiday shopping season when people are in the stores and willing to spend.
The momentum they could have gained by launching and then building up steam by announcing additional products/artists every few weeks has been squandered......with no explanation to shareholders.
But tell me again what they served at the last party.
I am getting the impression this is an ego trip more than a business venture.
