I just wonder why Todd chose that particular name.
The only times I can find "Athena Protocol" mentioned in relation to cannabis is in connection with Todd. Each time he asserts it is "a four-phased strategy to mitigate and treat traumatic brain injury (TBI) and chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE)."
I was unaware that he is also an expert in neurology.
According to the above-- "The best evidence available today suggests that CTE is not caused by any single injury, but rather it is caused by years of regular, repetitive brain trauma." Also, "Currently, CTE can only be diagnosed after death through brain tissue analysis."
IMO Todd is on thin ice claiming that cannabis can "mitigate" CTE --a condition that cannot be diagnosed until AFTER death. Any non-FDA approved products must carry the disclaimer stating "This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease."
