Wrong, any pinkie that allows the TA to give out share info, will do upon request. Some one can call, others you need to email and they respond within 24 hours.
The big companies TA may not release it as there share structure doesn’t change much and when it does, is disclosed.
If IBM issued 600 million shares during a quarter, especially during an announced buyback, it would be disclosed unlike this ticker
