It's not, but, I wanted to be crystal clear about my wishes and instruction. It's in my medical directive and additional instruction wherever possible so dr's and family won't have to guess. I even have a note on fridge to not resusitate in case an ambulance is called.

Off to movie and gym now.

I suspect that the California euthanasia law isn't fully supportive for dementia (which I know can be incidentally fatal).

One of my father's friends privately offered me to prescribe enough morphine to euthanize him, but he had told us he wanted to "ascend to heaven with a clear mind". It was brutal as you can imagine. We gave him a little toward the end.
