#93988 RE: 66Mustang #93977

The sky is not falling. Some only focus on the negative. Every major medical device player will NEED robotics!!

Quote from Seeking Alpha transcript, Geoffrey Martha executive VP and president of the company’s Restorative Therapies Group, August 21st 2019.

Medtronic also reaffirmed its plans to launch its surgical robotics platform outside of the U.S. in its FY20. (Titan is on similar timeline).

“Let me tell you that in virtually every area that we have a procedural presence, we will look at robotics because that’s how it’s going to be,”

“Combination with the robot with other capital equipment, especially ones with visualization and for navigation, that we’re showing with Mazor is not only restricted to spine alon[e]. This is a core area for us and we’ll see much more about robots than just the two that you’re looking at today in the future.”

Also, Medtronic CEO only disclosed the 4 year partnership with Karl Storz publicly in order “to enable upcoming regulatory filings.”

Rocko had a good point, wash sale rules would encourage investors from selling between latest PR and Medtronic Sept announcement.

Titan was transparent about the possibility of timeline push, back in July 2019.

“Titan Medical has warned that factors outside its control could prevent it filing for clearance to sell its robotic surgical system by the end of the year.

Titan said it remains committed to that timeline but it is also managing expectations by advising investors that the schedule is "very tight" and "not completely within [its] control."
