Good point. I downloaded a few TV shows to just check it out. It took me until today to get them. It was definitely on the Redmond/Server side of things as you mentioned. I suspect just about everybody did the same thing and bought at least one show.

On the other side of things when the server is timing out we all have experienced the better connection you have on your end the better chance of getting the IP you are trying to download.

This link does show a need for higher broadband for HDTV.
