To isolate the wanted traits that would make a certain strain stable seed after seed could be done in less than a year...just stress the plant and it will go into self-preservation mode and seed itself. Because it's a female plant seeding itself, the offspring (seeds) would be feminized...meaning every seed would produce the wanted buds with no chance of a Male plant...this would make the feminized seeds worth more!
