I didn’t say the RS was an issue as that as we both know could go either way all depends on the terms could be 1/5, 1/50, 1/2000 as I have seen that plenty of time. All depends what they need as a PPS to uplist depending on the exchange they would be trying for
They could also convert with a symbol change as well. So if they decide to go with a new symbol because of the new combined entity and they could convert as well.
