#14187 RE: Hoghead7 #14186

Hoghead7 - Great find and superb DD - An interesting note to bolster FuelCell Energy's Research and Development. In addition to the $2,000,000 award from the Federal Government this past week (Someone made light of that amount stating the Federal Gov didn't have much faith or backing in FCEL.)

I added up the amounts of the AWARD MONEY from those SIX projects you linked to in your post and found that since 2015 through 2020 the Feds have contributed directly to FCEL a total of $19,878,722 before last week's
$2,000,000 TOTAL IS now: $21,878,722 - I think that is a substantial acknowledgement of what our company has going for us.

Link to the projects that Hoghead7 mentioned:

Hoghead7 the NETL link indicates there are 3 projects ending September 30, 2019 as I see it, please correct me if I am wrong.

There will be advanced technology gains for Q3 and Q4 however in the 10Q ending April 30, 2019 it states:

"As of April 30, 2019, Advanced Technologies contracts backlog totaled $32.9 million, of which $21.5 million is funded and $11.4 million is unfunded." (p. 64)

Projects with NETL are paid money incrementally as milestones are reached during the project duration, and not lump sum awards at the end of the project duration....as you probably are aware.

There is the $3.76M January 9, 2019 from SCAQMB in California for the fuel cell project producing renewable hydrogen and power from onsite biogas which is outside of NETL, and the recent $2M award from DOE for Reversible Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (Topic D2.)
