IMO the conventional pressure of recession fear is pulling money out of all markets. The great recession destroyed many retirees (including my dad who was a professor for 30 years so had a decent retirement but that shrunk a lot). I think our generation remembers 2008 very well and are retreating impulsively. I’m staying long here but am watching my blues closely.
