#33479 RE: PAPPEE #33477

PAPPEE, i would have PM'd you this, but you have a free account. from the sound of things you are swinging for the fences, even now after getting creamed, and that strategy just might lose you the rest of what you have. it's time to start trading smart. you already violated the most important rule: never gamble with $ you can't afford to lose. now it's time to start sticking to the rules.

to recover:

1) take profits. always. make yourself comfortable with taking 10-20% profit. then move on to a brand new stock that is showing a clear and early sign of recovery.

2) start small. take small positions and scale in so a sudden drop doesn't make you panic sell for yet another loss.

3) diversify, diversify, diversify. never, ever, go all in on a stock no matter how good you think it is.

4) never chase after a winner, no matter how much further you think it will go. be patient and find the right entry on the NEXT winner. they are born here every minute of every day.

5) stop asking posters on these message boards which stock your recovery play should be. if you can't find it on your own you should invest in something without risk like CDs. seriously. i am not kidding.

good luck to you...! :)
