Old conspiracy theories die hard. Evil MM's, "Shorty", and the always popular "Short Squeeze" will always be cited when a stock won't perform as it should.

Incompetent CEO, a dog of a mining prospect, looming R/S, and manipulation by insiders......nahhh, can't be any of those things.

Shorting low priced securities like MXSG not only require a client to maintain $2.50 per share in margin, but the weekly and monthly costs can easily wipe out any profit very quickly.



Some brokers just calculate a margin of 200% and if you do not keep them overnight the costs are way less and you can do it over and over again after each swing. Some however might step in however at the wrong day.
