basically its a volume contract over 5yrs, so most likely no research involved, so for primary indication (possiblity that the army wants to do more test on severe burns indication without going directly through the company is less likely)
underneath the email and reply someone else mailed the VA bureau and was seperatedly informed that it was a volume procurement contract
-------------- my email: 31 oktober 2006 18:39 Dear Mrs Lomenzo,
I Left a msg on your answering machine at insmed corp extension 3041 At that time i did leave my phone nr and email address.
I am a private investor in insmed. My question:
It was in relation to a dept of veteran affairs contract award V797P-5906X Was this in relation to a research project (severe burns indication) or more of a volume contract as a product delivery contract only? http://www.fbo.gov/servlet/Documents/R/1573013
Would appreciate if you give me some details there, you can reach me through either cell phone or email,
Thank you for your time

Dear Robin,
In reference to your question, I learned that the contract award is for sale of Iplex, as any government purchase requires a contract. I don't have further details.
