kdawg23.....you make a good point about company turnarounds...just look at Kraft-heinz....two old line companies which were the top brands in their business, and married together by Warren Buffet, who is "god" on wall street... the cultures are quite different, and they are really suffering in the bottom line with profits off quite substantially.. the stock is down big time, and some long term investors might bail, if the earnings do not improve.. the stock is down to about 27 dollars per share from their recent merger highs..it will take time to turn this ship around too, even with the stellar management of this company... product sales are off, marketing of this hybrid company is not compatible, as with shipping, and a hold host of variables that go along with any merger... it is the same with a marriage between two people.. culture, customs, habits , interests, financials family ties, and creative impulses are different too.. it takes time for two people who marry to accustom themselves to each other... cheers...
