Yes good point I’m guessing the Kiewit Engineers woke up a week ago Saturday morning and realized “hey this CCTC coal thing we’ve been working on for years really doesn’t work we’d better get out now and save our reputation!”
As I understand it, if CCTI receives any government funds, they MUST use a competitive bidding process for architect/engineering/construction projects. If that happens, Kiewit could still win the contract if they want it bad enough.
