1. Depending on how close the research is to completion, If that's really all STZ is interested in, then They won't even need to grow Hemp too make their Cannabis beverages, it will all be made from their signature Brewers Yeast.

If STZ do acquirer more then 50% share or Buys CGC out 100%, they will no longer be allowed to continue business in Canada, as Canadian government has a strict prohibition on any ownership of Canadian cannabis companies being owned and operated by a Beer, Wine, or alcohol company, let alone Big American alcohol, if this is there plan they will sell off greenhouses, the 160 acres off land Bruce bought in Sask, which was licensed to late to grow a crop this season, Smith Falls, and exit the Canadian cannabis market due to restrictive Regulation.

I think investors will be stunned at the direction Constellation Brands will take.
