Juries are unpredictable...

Recall OJ Simson criminal trial. Granted, this was a criminal trial, but the evidence "seemed" overwhelming. Yet, the defense was able to introduce enough doubt that the verdict was contrary to what most sidelines observes predicted.

Regarding INSM and TRCA, I think a careful reading of the transcripts (or my semi-careful) reading shows that both sides have "experts" and papers regarding patent validity and reasonable skill results, etc. I wish I didn't have to say this, but I still think it's a 50-50 prediction for INSM victory.

I think why the stock is climbing is that TRCA sees a 25% royalty, and INSM sees a 15% royalty. Even at 25%, for growth indications only, leaves INSM in an acceptable position. AIDS, MD and wound healing are all non-royalty applications. Do I have this right? All MHO.
