Maxine needs to stop putting dates on things because his guesstimates are always way off.

My interpretation of that is that Max is saying there is nothing he can do about T-Mobile’s schedule so he is at the mercy of that for this specific project, I believe that is what he is implying, not that they placed a deadline he couldn’t meet.
