As I have been saying over and over again, mass production is not happening yet, and won't happen until early 2020 (at the earliest)...

"...we are now ready to start the transition and expansion of our recombinant spider silk production into the new factory"

Notice that today's PR says that they "are now ready". That means that they were NOT ready previously.

It also says they are now ready to "start the transition ... of ... production". They still aren't ready to mass produce, but are ONLY ready to "transition" to production. They aren't near the end of the transition, or middle of the transition. They haven't even started the transition. They are only "ready to start".

In other words, they are still preparing to mass produce. That is something that they have been doing for the last 12 years.

What a sad PR...

BOOM!!!!

Prodigy Textiles factory, the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary and production arm.

This new laboratory suite was built to support production ramp up and will serve as a testing and quality control facility for the commercialization of the Company’s recombinant spider silk technologies.

“We purposefully designed our laboratories to mirror those of the MoST, where the initial evaluation and approval of our specialized silkworms were finalized, in order to accelerate our commercial ramp up.”

Sweet. So at the meeting they mentioned they produced hundreds of kilos.... which is close to a metric ton. And that was during moving and renovations.

Now with nothing but production on the radar. Mass production is full speed ahead!!!

Silk ramping up is extremely quick $$$$

Sounds to me Kraig has plans on producing several different
lines (worm strains) of spider silk fibers at the same time.
If not, why all eleven labs? One line for ballistic type fibers,
one or two for medical type fibers, one for performance type fibers
for apparel, one for industrial type fibers for filters etc.,
one for automotive applications like seatbelts, tires etc.,
and a few for the spider silk proteins themselves (no fibers) to
be used for various applications? as drug in delivery etc.

The sky's the limit here people. To be the first company
to mass produce "GODS" materials is simply wonderful IMHO.

It will take some time before mass production and contracts are
signed. But those who can wait for it should be rewarded in
their investment.

Thank you Kim and team for giving me the opportunity to
be apart of this.

GO KBLB!
