Yeah, USD is looking stronger here. Nice to see gold really staying strong here. They are not inversely related.

As for Green New Deal, i'd love to see it happen. But i'm also a very pragmatic environmentalist and would actually like to see many developed and developing nations (the big oil guzzlers) get back to building up the nuclear industry.... Imo (and the opinion of many experts) the severity of climate change demands a pragmatism that overrides the concerns and fears about nuclear power generation. Yes, let's build out solar, wind and other technologies to the max ASAP, but we're gonna need nuclear to get the increasing energy needs met.
