Cliff, sorry to hear that you've had to deal with melanomas. No fun at all.
I hope there are no more of those in your/our future.

Me, too! :-) Though back then we didn't have the internet and easy access to research and self-investing and swing-trading. But one good stockbroker and a few books would have worked wonders!

Cliff, I'm a melanoma survivor as well, with two quarter sized ones taken off of my chest and back about nine years ago. No problems since. I'm fanatical about covering up at the beach now.

cliffvb- make sure you stay on top of melanoma. Basal and squamous are two of the most highly curable/least threatening forms of cancer but melanoma it is important to catch before it does much spreading. Using the ABCDE checklist and getting checked up regularly are good ideas.

A lot of times it is just developing age spots but melanoma is the one we all want to pay attention to (highly curable early but later can be much more serious).
