Believe I'm Art if it makes you feel better. A couple folks here (well on the PAOG board) have met me in real life and know otherwise (literally a couple, as in the only two other people showed up at the PAOG open house a couple years back).
As far as the spamming you seem to think is paid for... I'm gonna say people are people, and given the twitter integration with iHub, they are more concerned with getting their message out there, as it's an easy way to post and populate multiple media sources.
Do I think it is good? Not really. Do I think it is bad? Not really. I think lots of people with various levels on intelligence try to influence public opinion on things out of their control hoping to make a buck.
